Maravanthe is a beach near Kundapura, Udupi Karnataka India. It is on the side of NH17. One side of NH17 haivng beach and other side is river (Sauparnika). On the riview side, there are few islands connected by boats.
Boat trip would be best experience along spending time in island. Padukone (native of Prakash Padukone and Deepika Padukone is also next to the island.
You can take a bus from Kundapura or Udupi or Mangalore. Marawanthe beach is best known for huge waves.
Cautious: Very dangerous to get into water in the Marawanthe beach. It is very steep.
